# How Parents Can Request Deletion of a Child or Entire Account

- A parent can only request deletion if the child is **not currently enrolled** in any active:
  - Classes
  - Trials
  - Waiting lists
- If the parent has **multiple children**, every child must be removed from all classes before the **entire account** can be deleted.

- Go to **My Details**.
- Scroll all the way down to find the **GDPR Request** box.
- This is where deletion requests are made for:
  - An individual child
  - The full parent account

- Choose whether to request deletion for:
  - **Just one child**, or
  - **The whole account**
- Click **Request to Delete**.
- Note: the request will only work if the child or all children are completely removed from classes and other active placements.

- The request is sent to the **club** for review.
- The club must **accept** the deletion request before anything is removed.

- Once approved, the account will be deleted from the system.
- The parent will receive an **email notification** confirming the account is no longer active in the system.
