How to Add a Class in the Setup Wizard #

1. Open Step 5: Classes 0:00

• In the Setup Wizard, go to Step 5: Classes.
• You’ll see a list of existing classes already set up.
• This is where you add a new class and define how it appears and behaves.

2. Create the New Class 0:14

• Add a new class called Freestyle Gymnastics.
• Select the appropriate class icon.
• Enter a short description: Flips, Tricks, and Fun.
• Add a longer description as needed.
• Fill in any additional short description field shown in the form.

3. Set the Class Details 0:40

• Choose the Category as School Age.
• Set the Award Syllabus to Belts and Black Belt.
  • This determines the first award students will be set to work toward when they join the class.

4. Configure Availability and Visibility 0:56

• Mark the class as Active so people can book onto it.
• Set the class to Public if it should be visible and bookable by the public.
  • Use Private for classes like elite squads that should not be publicly bookable.

5. Set Waiting List Behavior 1:04

• Enable Remove from other waiting lists.
  • This means if a user is on multiple waiting lists for similar classes, joining one class removes them from the others.
• In the example, this is set to Yes.

6. Add a Class Note and Save 1:40

• Add any note or reminder for the class.
• Example note used: Parents need to stay.
• Click Save to finish.
• The new class will then appear in the classes list.
