How to Add Awards and Award Criteria in the Setup Wizard #
1. Open the Awards section in the Setup Wizard 0:00
- Go to the Setup Wizard.
- Select Awards (this is Step 4).
- This is where you define the award structure used in the system.
2. Create a new award level 0:13
- Add a new award type, such as Belts.
- Create a service level within that award type, for example Black Belt.
- Set the award Status to Active.
- Define the pass requirement, such as 5 passes required to earn the Black Belt.
3. Add criteria for the award 0:40
- Open View Criteria for the award.
- Add a new criterion, such as Kick.
- Set the criterion Status to Active.
- Define the scoring ratings:
- 1 = Low Kick
- 2 = Medium Kick
- 3 = High Kick
4. Attach supporting reference material 1:09
- Optionally add YouTube media to show an example of the skill.
- Or add an external link to a supporting document.
- Save the criterion so coaches can score learners against the defined rating scale.
5. Repeat criteria setup for the rest of the award syllabus 1:21
- Continue adding criteria for the full award, such as the remaining requirements for Black Belt.
- Repeat the same process for other award types, such as Badges.
- Example shown:
- Level 1 badge
- Criterion: Forward Roll
- Ratings:
- 1 = Nice Safe Roll
- 2 = Nice Safe Roll with Head Tucked In
- 3 = Nice Safe Roll with Head Tucked In, Legs Together
- Add a YouTube video to demonstrate the expected movement.
6. Understand the result in the system 1:58
- Once saved, the award syllabus is available inside the system.
- Coaches can score learners based on the criteria and rating levels you defined.
