How the Request Cancellation Email Is Triggered #
1. Review the cancellation request email 0:00
- Open the request cancellation email and click Edit.
- The email is a basic confirmation message.
- It tells the parent that their cancellation request has been received.
- It also explains that the team will follow up once the cancellation has been processed.
2. Go to the parent dashboard 0:20
- The email is triggered from the parent’s dashboard.
- In the example shown, the parent is enrolled in the Beginners class.
- This is the starting point for the cancellation request flow.
3. Submit a cancellation request 0:34
- The parent clicks Request Cancellation.
- They are asked to provide a star rating out of 5.
- They choose a reason for leaving from the available options.
- If none of the reasons apply, they can select Other.
- They can also add comments and feedback before submitting.
4. Confirm the request is submitted 0:51
- After the parent submits the form, the system shows that the cancellation request has been submitted.
- This submission is the event that triggers the email.
5. Understand what triggers the email 1:01
- The parent receives the cancellation request email immediately after submitting the request.
- The email is sent because the parent has requested to cancel their child from the class.
- The email confirms receipt and indicates that the cancellation will be processed.
