How the Cancellation Rejection Email Works #

1. Open the cancellation rejection email 0:00

  • Start by opening the cancellation rejection email template.
  • Read through the example message to understand what the parent will see.
  • Example wording shown:
    • “Your cancellation has not been processed…”
    • The student remains in their class.

2. Understand the purpose of the email 0:21

  • This email is used when a parent requests a cancellation but later decides not to go through with it.
  • It confirms that the cancellation was not completed.
  • You may want to customize the tone, for example:
    • “Thanks for deciding to stay with us.”
    • Or any other message that fits your style.

3. Reject the cancellation request from the cancellations page 0:40

  • Go to the Cancellations page, where pending cancellation requests are listed.
  • From there, you can either:
    • Accept the cancellation to remove the student from the class, or
    • Reject the cancellation to keep the student enrolled.
  • Rejecting the request triggers this email automatically.

4. Confirm the student stays in the class 1:02

  • Click the X to reject the cancellation request.
  • Confirm the action when prompted.
  • The student will remain in the same class they were already in.
  • This confirms the cancellation was not processed.

5. Check the email sent to the parent 1:10

  • After rejection, the parent receives the cancellation rejection email.
  • The email tells them that:
    • Their cancellation was not processed
    • Their child will remain in the class
  • This is the final confirmation that the cancellation was declined.
