How the Award Passed Email Works and How Parents Buy the Badge #
1. Review the Award Passed Email 0:00
- Open the Award Passed email template and click Edit to inspect it.
- The email’s purpose is to tell the parent that their child has passed their badge and has been moved on to the next badge.
- It also includes a link to the shop so the parent can purchase the badge.
2. Trigger the Award Pass from a Class 0:21
- Go into the relevant class.
- Open View Awards.
- Find the child who is on Level 2 and needs 3 ticks to pass.
- This is where the award progression is managed.
3. Complete the Required Ticks to Pass the Award 0:37
- Add the required 3 ticks for the child.
- Once the third tick is added, the system automatically passes the child to the next badge level.
- At the same time, it sends the Award Passed email to the parent.
4. Confirm the Parent Notification Was Sent 0:50
- Check that the email has been triggered successfully.
- The parent is now informed that their child has passed.
- The message directs them to purchase the award from you.
5. Parent Uses the Shop Link to Buy the Badge 0:57
- The parent clicks the shop link included in the email.
- In the shop, they:
- Select the child they are purchasing for
- Choose the badge level they want
- Continue to the basket
- Complete payment for the badge
